To Find : General term, i.e. tr+1

For (x2 - y)6

a=x2 , b=-y and n=6

General term tr+1 is given by,

tr+1 = (rn) an-rbr

= (6r)(x2)6-r(-y)r

Conclusion : General term = (6r)(x2)6-r(-y)r
