Given : Let u = log x and v = cot x

To differentiate : log xwith respect to cot x

Formula used :

The CHAIN RULE states that the derivative of f(g(x)) is f’(g(x)).g’(x)

Let u = log x and v = cot x

Differentiating u with respect to x

\(\cfrac{du}{d\text x}=\cfrac1{\text x}\)

Differentiating v with respect to x
