Best answer
Correct Answer - B
According to Hannay and Smith equation,
% ionic character = `16 (chi_(A) - chi_(B)) + 3.5(chi_(A) - chi_(B))^(2)`
` 16 (4-0 - 1.2) + 3.5 (4 .0 - 1.2)^(2)`
`= 16 xx2.8 + 3.5 xx (2.8)^(2)`
`= 44.8 + 27 .44 = 72.24`
