Factors for modulating a signal are :
(i) The energy (strength) of signal wave is low, so it cannot be transmitted directly to large distance.
(ii) Height of signal antenna (transmitter and receiver) `= (lamda)/(4)`
`lamda` of signal wave is large distance.
