Best answer

Data: F = 1000 N,

A = 50 cm × 20 cm = 0.5 m × 0.2 m = 0.1 m2

pressure = ?

P = \(\cfrac{F}A\) = \(\cfrac{1000N}{0.1m^2}\) = 104N/m2

The pressure = 10 N/m2.
