माना कि दिये गये संकर आयनों में धातु की ऑक्सीकरण संख्या x है। अतः
(i) `x+(0)+(-1)+2xx(0)=+2," " therefore x=+3`
(ii) `x+2xx(-1)+2xx(0)=+1," "therefore x=+3`
(iii) `x+4xx(-1)=-2, " " therefore x=+2`
(iv) `3xx(+1)+x+6xx(-1)=0," "therefore x= +3`
(v) `x+3xx(0)+3xx(-1)=0, " "therefore x =+3`
