Ram can do 3/12 part of work in 6 days. Raghav can do 50% of work in 18 days and Reshma can do 11/6 part of work in 33 days. Find in how many days they can complete whole work while working together.

Correct Answer - Option 1 : 8

Given:

Ram can do 3/12 part of work in 6 days. Raghav can do 50% of work in 18 days and Reshma can do 11/6 part of work in 33 days. 

Concept used:

Time and work

Calculation:

Ram does 3/12 part of work in 6 days

Ram does whole work in \(\frac{{6 × 12}}{3} = 24\ days\)

Raghav does 50% of work in 18 days

Raghav can do whole work in 18 × 2 = 36 days.

Reshma does 11/6 part of work in 33 days

Reshma can do whole work in \(\frac{{6 \times 33}}{{11}} = 18\ days\)

Take LCM of 24,36 and 18 which is 72

Total work = 72

Efficiency of Ram = (72/24) = 3

Efficiency of Raghav = (72/36) = 2

Efficiency of Reshma = (72/18) = 4

Time taken by them to work together = \(\frac{{72}}{{3 \ +\ 4\ +\ 2}}= 8\ Days\)
