Correct Answer - Option 1 : Total mean input power to the total rms input volt amperes

Input power factor of the converter circuit is defined as the ratio of total mean input power to the total RMS input volt-amperes.

\(p.f. = \frac{{{E_1}{I_1}\cos \phi }}{{{E_{rms}}{I_{rms}}}} = \frac{{{I_1}}}{{{I_{rms}}}}\cos \phi \)

Note:

The input power factor of single phase full converter = 0.9 cos α

The input power factor of three phase full converter = 0.954 cos α
