Measures need to be taken to conserve forests:
(i) Reforestation of the deforested areas as soon as possible.
(ii) Ban on the indiscriminate cutting of trees.
(iii) Felling of trees for fuel and wood should be avoided.
(iv) Overgrazing in forests should be discouraged.
