  • Goa was annexed by India in 1961 until that it was controlled by Portuguese.

  • It is part of the Ernakulam district of Kerala.
Mahe:-
  • It was part of French India.
  • Now it is a part of Pondicherry( Union Territory).
  • Mahe is surrounded by Kerala.
Calicut:-
  • Now it is known as Kozhikode and is part of Kerala.
  • It was a major trade route for cotton and spices.
