Correct Answer - Option 4 : All of the above

Explanation

Coefficient of permeability ‘k’ is given by:

\(k = C \times \left( {\frac{{\rm{\gamma }}}{\mu }} \right) \times \left( {\frac{{{e^3}}}{{1 + e}}} \right) \times {D^2}\)

where

e = void ratio

D = effective size of soil particle

γ = weight density of fluid

μ = viscosity of fluid

c = constant (depends upon the shape of particle)

∴ Coefficient of permeability depends upon shape of particles, diameter of particles and void ratio.
