Correct Answer - Option 4 : All the students
Even though a school is a part of the larger society, it represents a little society by itself. Teachers, students, other staff members of this little society interactively participate and contribute in their distinctive ways. A school follows its own rules, social setting and culture. It represents a "total institution" in the sense that any student coming from any social culture has to abide by the rules and regulations of the school and adjust to the distinct social milieu of the school for the limited period during which he/she stays at school. All in all, a school can be considered as a miniature society.
The disciplinary rules and regulations in schools are made for all the students, some of them are:
- Students should always treat school staff with respect and be nice to their classmates.
- Students will not cause any type of damage to school property. The school has the right to be paid for any such damages by the student.
- Students will not litter and will keep the school grounds clean.
- Unacceptable behaviour will result in serious disciplinary action, including but not limited to irregular attendance, academic dishonesty, and homework neglect, as well as disruptive behaviour, loitering, and disrespectful behaviour toward staff or fellow students.
- Any type of bullying or ragging will be investigated by a disciplinary committee, with the possibility of expulsion and a negative conduct certificate.
Thus from the above-mentioned points, it is clear that the disciplinary rules and regulations in schools are made for all the students.
