Correct Answer - Option 3 : 18750

Calculation:

Let Amita's monthly income be Rs. x

Then, she decide to 16% of Rs. x to a charitable trust

She wanted to denote Rs. 16x/100

But actually, she donated 120% of this 16% of Rs. x

⇒ 120/100 × 16x/100

Which is equal to Rs. 3600

∴ 120/100 × 16x/100 = 3600

⇒ x = 3000 × 100/16 = 18750

∴ Amita's monthly income is Rs. 18750.
