Given:

Total ages of Ram, Shyam and Mohan = 25

Ram is 17 years younger then Mohan

Mohan is thrice time old to Shyam

Calculation:

Let the age of Shyam be x

Then age of Mohan = 3x

And age of Ram = 3x - 17

According to question,

 ⇒ x + 3x + (3x-17) = 25

 ⇒ 7x = 42

 ⇒ x = 6

So, age of Mohan = 3x = 3× 6 = 18 years

∴ Mohan is 18 years old.
