Given:

Sum of square of two positive numbers = 2437 

Square root of one number = 7 

Formula used:

√a = b 

⇒ a = b²

Calculation:

Let the two numbers be a and b respectively. 

a² + b² = 2437 

√a = 7 

⇒ a = 7² = 49  

49² + b² = 2437 

⇒ b² = 2437 - 2401 = 36

⇒ b = √36 = ± 6 

∴ The other number is + 6.
