The correct answer is Article 15 (IV) & 16 (IV). Articles under Fundamental Rights having provisions of reservation for O.B.C.

  • Article 15:  Prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.
    • Clause (4): Nothing in this article or in clause (2) of Article 29 shall prevent the State from making any special provision for the advancement of any socially and educationally backward classes of citizens or for the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes.
  • Article 16:  Equality of opportunity in matters of public employment.
    • Clause(4): Nothing in this article shall prevent the State from making any provision for the reservation of appointments or posts in favour of any backward class of citizens which, in the opinion of the State, is not adequately represented in the services under the State.

  • Article 29: Protection of Interests of Minorities.
  • Article 13(2): The State must not make laws that are not in ‘consonance’ with the Constitution. And if the law drafted intervened with an individual’s fundamental rights, the said law will become void to the extent of the contravention.
  • Article 14: The State shall not deny to any person equality before the law or the equal protection of the laws within the territory of India Prohibition of discrimination on grounds of religion, race, caste, sex or place of birth.
  • Article 17: Abolition of Untouchability.
  • Article 18: Abolition of titles.
