Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 2 : 42000

Given

Sham started the business = Rs. 25,000

Ram started the business = Rs. 35,000

Formula

Profit = Investment × time

Profit ratio is equal to investment ratio

Calculation

⇒ Investment Ratio (Sham : Ram) = 25,000 : 35,000 = 5 : 7

⇒ Profit Ratio = 5 : 7

⇒ Total profit earned by them = 72,000

⇒ 12x = 72,000

⇒ x = 6000

⇒ Profit Share of Ram = 7 × 6000 = Rs. 42,000

∴ The profit share of Ram is Rs. 42000
