Given:

Marks for correct answer = 4

Marks for wrong answer = -1

Total attempted questions = 75

Total secured marks = 125

Calculation:

Let the number of correct answer = n

⇒ number of wrong answer = 75 - n

According to question 

⇒ 4n - (75-n) = 125

⇒ 5n = 125 + 75

⇒ n =200/5 = 40

∴ The number of correct answer is 40.
