Correct Answer - Option 3 : 64 cm

Given:

The area of square = 256 sq.

Formula used:

The perimeter of square = 4 × a

Calculation:

We know that area of square = a2   , where a = side of square

So, a2 = 256 sq.

⇒ a = √256

⇒ a = 16

Now,

Perimeter of square = 4 × 16 = 64

∴The perimeter of that square is 64 .
