Correct Answer - Option 3 : 64 m

Given:

Area of square = 256 m2

Formula used:

Area of square = a2

Perimeter of square = 4a

Where, a → side of the square

Calculation:

Area of square = a2

⇒ 256 = a2

⇒ a = √256

⇒ a = 16 m

Perimeter of square = 4a

⇒ Perimeter of square = 4 × 16

⇒ Perimeter of square = 64 m

∴ Perimeter of a square is 64 m
