Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 2 : Rs.2000

Given

The ratio of P, Q and R = 4 : 2 : 1

P's share = Rs.3000 + R's share

Calculation

let the share of P = 4x/7

Share of Q = 2x/7

Share of R = x/7

P's share + Q's share + R's share = x

3000 + R's share + (2x/7) + (x/7) = x

3000 + (x/7) + (2x/7) + (x/7) = x

4x/7 - x = - 3000

- 3x/7 = - 3000

x = (3000 × 7)/3

x = 7,000

Q's share = (2 × 7000)/7

= Rs.2000
