Correct Answer - Option 2 : 24 L

Given:

16L of pure milk

Calculation:

Let the cost price of milk Rs. 1 for 1 litre

⇒ After mixing water he has (16 + x)L of mixture

⇒ (16 + x) × (60/100) = 16 × (150/100)

⇒ x = 24 L

∴ The required result will be 24 L.
