Correct Answer - Option 1 : Rs. 1200

Given:

Rs. 7800 is divided among A, B, and C

The share of A = 3/4th of the share of B

The share of B = 2/3th of the share of C

Formula:

Ratio of Profit = ratios of product of Amount invested and time

Calculation:

The share of A = 3/4th of the share of B

⇒ A/B = 3/4

The share of B = 2/3th of the share of C

⇒ B/C = 2/3

Combining all the above ratios we get,

The ratio of A, B, and C = 3 ∶ 4 ∶ 6

Share of B = (4/13) × 7800 = 2400

Share of C = (6/13) × 7800 = 3600

The difference between share of B and share of C = 3600 – 2400

⇒ 1200

∴ The difference between the share of B and C is Rs. 1200.
