Let the number be x

Then, Actual answer will be 3x/8

Now, According to question

x ÷ 3/8 = 3x/8 + 55

⇒ x × 8/3 = 3x/8 + 55

⇒ 8x/3 - 3x/8 = 55

⇒ 55x/24 = 55

⇒ x = 24

The actual answer = 3/8 × 24 = 9

∴ The actual answer is 9
