Given:

S.P of laptop = Rs. 43200

Loss = 10%

Formula used:

C.P = S.P × (100/100 – L%)

Where,

C.P → Cost price

S.P → Selling price

L% → Loss%

Calculations:

Complete cost price of laptop including antivirus installation = Rs. (45000 + x)

C.P = 43,200 × 100/(100 – 10)

⇒ 43,200 × 100/90

⇒ Rs. 48,000

Complete cost price of laptop including antivirus installation = 48,000

⇒ 45,000 + x = 48,000

⇒ x = 3,000
