Concept used:

66.67% can also be written as 2/3

Calculation:

Let B be 100x

Then, A = 100x × (160/100) = 160x

And, C = (2/3) × (160x – 100x)

⇒ C = (2/3) × 60x = 40x

C is less than A by = (160x – 40x) = 120x

⇒ Required less % = (120x/160x) × 100% = 75%

∴ C is 75% less than A
