Given:

time taken by Uday to complete the work = 6 days

time taken by Dishant to complete the work = 8 days

time taken by (Surya + Uday + Dishant) to complete the work = 3 days

Total wage = 3200

Formula used:

Total work done (1/T) = (1/T1) + (1/T2) + (1/T3)

Where, T, T1, T2, T3 is time taken to complete the work in days

Calculation:

Let work done by surya be T days

⇒ 1/3 = (1/6) + (1/8) + (1/T)

⇒ 1/T = (1/3) - ((1/6) + (1/8))

⇒ 1/T = (1 / 3) - (7/24)

⇒ T = 24

⇒ Time taken by Uday : Dishant : Surya = 6 : 8 : 24

⇒ Work done ratio = 4 : 3 : 1

⇒ Surya’s share (For 3 days) = (1/8) × 3200

⇒ Surya’s share = Rs. 400
