Best answer

In throwing the die any one of the given six faces may come upward.

The number of all possible outcomes = 6

⇒ n(S) = 6

(i) Since, there are two faces with letter A.

Let E1 be event of getting faces with letter A.

Number of favourable outcomes

n(E) = 2

(ii) Number of favourable outcomes to get C = 3

⇒ n(E) = 3
