दिया गया आव्यूह, A = \(\begin{bmatrix}-8&5\\[0.3em]2&4\\[0.3em]\end{bmatrix}\)

अब A2+ 4A – 42I

अतः दिया गया आव्यूह समीकरण A2 + 4A – 42I = 0 को सन्तुष्ट करता है।

अब A2 + 4A – 42I= 0

A2+ 4A = 42I

A-1 (A2 + 4A) = 42A-1I

(A-1 का दोनों पक्षों में गुणा करने पर)।
