Correct option: (c) 1.5D

Explanation:

Dipole moments of 2Cl and 5Cl Dipole moments of 2Cl and 5Cl

It is due 1 Cl and 3 Cl μ2

= (1.5)2 + (1.5)2 + 2 x 1.5 x 1.5 cos 120 

∴  μ = 1.5 D
