It was because –

1. she was a conscious spinster.
2. her father’s persuation had acted late in her brain.
3. she had honour for the word, she gave to her mother, while she was dying.
4. she was dutiful and loyal to her family, the office, as also to the entire land.
5. she was aware of peoples’ behaviour in foreign country.

ऐसा इसलिए क्योंकि –

1. वह एक जागरूक कुंवारी लड़की थी।
2. वह अपने पिता की बातें अपने मस्तिष्क में देर से बिठा सकी।
3. वह अपने माँ को दिए गए वायदे का सम्मान करती थी जिसे उसने उससे यानी अपनी मरती हुई माँ से किया था।।
4. वह कर्तव्यनिष्ठ तथा परिवार, अपने दफ्तर तथा राष्ट्र के प्रति वफादार थी।
5. वह विदेश में लोगों के व्यवहार के प्रति जागरुक थी।
