Given relation,

F = a + bx

Applying the principle of homogeneity of dimensions. We have,

Dimensions of a = dimensions of F
\([M^1L^1T^{-2}]\)

Dimension of bx = dimensions of F

Dimensions of b = dimensions of F/x
