When two dice are tossed simultaneously, the total number of all possible outcomes
= 6 × 6 = 36.
The favourable outcomes of getting a product 6, on the top surfaces of two dice
= (1,6), (2,3), (3, 2), (6, 1)
∴ The number of favourable outcomes = 4
Hence, the required probability = \(\frac { 4 }{ 36 }\) = \(\frac { 1 }{ 9 }\)
