1. The area (zones) are declared ‘No-Hunting Zones’ where the wildlife is under threat. It is done to protect and conserve the wildlife. Under article 37 of the Wildlife Conservation (safety) Act, such areas have been declared ‘No Hunting zones’ where the wildlife is endangered and it has become necessary to protect and develop further wildlife.
2. Hunting prohibited areas of two districts of Rajasthan are –
1. Jaipur district – Santhal and Mahala.
2. Bikaner district – Jodveer, Vaishney, Mukam, Bajju and De-Yatra.
