In the given figure, ABCD is a trapezium shaped field. AB || DC, DC = 25 cm., CE = 12 cm. and EB = 10 cm. Find the area of quadrilateral.

Area of trapezium ABCD = Area of rectangle AECD + Area of right angle triangle CEB

= \(25 \times 12 + \frac{10 \times 12}{2}\)

= 300 + 60

= 360 cm2
