Best answer

Sum of two rational numbers = -4

First number \(=\frac{-11}{5}\)

Second number = Sum of two rational numbers - First number

\(=-4-\frac{-11}{5}\)

\(=\frac{-20-(-11)}{5}\)

\(=\frac{-20+11}{5}\)

\(=\frac{-5}{9}\)

Second number \(=\frac{-9}{5}\)
