Best answer

a. In 100 g of CaCO3, number of moles

in molecules = \(\frac{100}{100}\) = 1

(GMM of CaCO3 = 100)

1 mole CaCO3, Ca = 1mole;

Carbon = 1 mole; Oxygen = 3 moles

b. Total number of atoms Ca

= 6.022 x 1023; C = 6.022 x 1023;

Oxygen = 3 x 6.022 x 1023
