Correct Answer - Option 1 : 72

Given,

The ratio of denomination of coin  Suresh has 10 paise, 25 paise and 50 paise coins in the ratio of 10:8:9.

Suresh gives Rs 20 to his sister.

Total money = 20 + 40 = 60

Calculations:
In this question, the total money is given so we need to multiply the value of the coins in the ratio.

⇒ 10 × 0.10 x + 8 × 0.25x + 9 × 0.50x = 60

⇒ x + 2x + 4.5x = 60

⇒ 7.5x = 60

⇒ x = 8

Number of 50 paise coins =

⇒ 9 × 8 = 72

∴ The required answer is 72
