Correct Answer - Option 1 : 5

Calculation:

Let time taken by Narayan to complete distance be a hours.

Time taken by Partha to complete distance be (a + 4) hours.

Distance between A and B = 60 km

Time taken by Partha to complete half of the distance = (a + 4)/2

⇒ a - (a + 4)/2 = 2

⇒ a = 8 hours

Time taken by Partha to complete distance = 8 + 4 = 12 hours

∴ Speed of Partha during journey = 60/12 = 5 kmph
