Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 : 500 Watts

Concept:

The power dissipated is given by

\(P = \frac{{{V^2}}}{R}\)

Where V is the voltage applied

R is the resistance

Calculation:

Given:

V = 100 V

R = 20 Ohm

\(P = \frac{{{100^2}}}{20}\)

P = 500 Watts
