Given:

Anita and Batuk undertake a project worth = Rs. 27000

Anita alone can do the work = 10 days

Calculation:

Anita can do 10% of work in a day.

Anita has worked 6 days in total. And so, has Batuk.

Anita completed 60% work in 6 days and Batuk did 40% of the work in 6 days

Efficiency of Anita and Batuk = 6 : 4

∴ Batuk’s share = 4/10 × 27000

⇒ 4 × 2700

⇒ Rs. 10800

The share of Batuk in the earnings is Rs. 10800.
