Calculation:

Ali’s one day work = ¼ × 1/6 = 1/24

Zaheer’s one day work = 1/6 × 1/8 = 1/48

Ali’s wages : Zaheer’s wages = Ali’s one day work : Zaheer’s one day work

⇒ 1/24 : 1/48

⇒ 48 : 24

⇒ 2 : 1

∴ Ali’s share = (2/3) × 900
