Best answer
Correct Answer - Option 1 : ₹ 26,040

According to question –

Eight time of “a” is equal to four time of “b”

⇒ 8a = 4b

⇒ a  :  b = 1  :  2

Four times of “b” is equal to five times of “c”

⇒ 4b = 5c

⇒ b  :  c = 5  :  4

Eight time of “c” is equal to seven time of “d”

⇒ 8c = 7d

⇒ c  :  d = 7  :  8

Now,

⇒ a  :  b = 1  :  2 = 35  :  70

⇒ b  :  c = 5  :  4 = 70  :  56

⇒ c  :  d = 7  :  8 = 56  :  64

∴ a  :  b  :  c  :  d = 35  :  70  :  56  :  64

Given, (70 – 64) units = 7440

⇒ 6 units = 7440

⇒ 1 unit = 1240

According to question –

⇒ Profit of R – Profit P = (56 – 35) units

⇒ 21 units = 21 × 1240

⇒ 21 units = ₹ 26,040

∴ the required value = ₹ 26,040
