Physiological and Psychological benefits of warming-up are:
Warming-up:
(a) raises the whole body temperature, which improves physical work efficiency
(ii) increases the stroke volume as per demand of muscles to be used in the activity.
(c) also increases the lung ventilation, which supplies more oxygen.
(d) enables to reduce the chances of feeling of stretch in the sides.
(e) improves reaction time.
